Field Follow-Up on Development Works at College of Engineering

Dean of College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mohammed Hamdoon, accompanied by a team from the Reconstruction and Projects Unit, conducted a field tour on Monday, November 24, 2025, to review the progress of ongoing development works at the College.
The tour included inspecting several service and construction projects across various departments, such as Al-Furat Hall, Cafeteria of Water Resources and Dams Engineering Department and Architecture Engineering Department, Sustainable Energy Engineering Department building, the Innovation Lab, and the Skills Development Lab. These projects aim to improve the campus environment and provide educational and research facilities that meet the needs of students and faculty.
The visit also involved reviewing progress rates in rehabilitation, maintenance, and infrastructure development, as well as discussing future plans to ensure work continues according to the set timelines. The Dean emphasized the importance of continuous follow-up to enhance services and strengthen a supportive academic environment.
This visit is part of the College’s regular monitoring program to ensure projects are implemented to the highest standards and in line with University of Mosul’s vision for developing its facilities and infrastructure.
