Empowering and Promoting Peace: Students’ Perspectives on University of Mosul Solarization Project
Within the scientific activities of College of Engineering at University of Mosul and in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, TETRA TEK Company, under the contract between University of Mosul and German Development Bank (KfW), conducted a consultative session to gather students’ perspectives on the social, peace-related, and community-level impacts of University of Mosul Solarization Project.
The session aimed to support the preparation of the final Peace and Local Conflict Analysis and Social Impact Assessment report for the project. It involved selected students from the College of Engineering, representing the Departments of Sustainable Energy, Environmental Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
The outcomes of the session contribute to enhancing the understanding of the project’s societal implications and its role in promoting peace and sustainable community development.
