M.SC. thesis at College of Engineering discusses ” The effect of different types of nanoparticles on performance of the double-tube heat exchanger “

A master’s thesis in Department of Mechanical Engineering /College of Engineering at University of Mosul discusses ” The effect of different types of nanoparticles on performance of the double-tube heat exchanger ” submitted by postgraduate student(Banan Najimaldeen Abdullah Khalil ) on Wednesday, 02/12/2020.
The thesis included a numerical and experimental study to improve the performance of double-tube counterflow heat exchanger by using different nanoparticles mixed with pure water as a base .The results of the thesis showed that adding nanoparticles increases the rate of heat transfer between the two fluids in the exchanger and increases the effectiveness of the exchanger .The thesis recommended the use ofdifferent types and different concentrations of nanoparticles, as well as the use of a different base base, the use of one-way flow, and comparison with the current study. The discussion committee consistedof:
1. Prof. Dr. Adnan Mohammed Hussein … (Chairman).
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. AbdulRahman Habbo Mohammed … ( Member ).
3. Asst. Prof. Ziyad Mohammed Majeed … ( Member ).
4. Asst. Prof. Dr. Adnan Mohammed Abdullah … ( member and supervisor ).Then the discussion committee read the decision which included approving the thesis and award the student (MS.C degree).
