Department of Architecture Engineering organized a training course titled “Scientific Reference Management Using Mendeley”, held from May 25 to 29, 2025.

The course introduced participants to Mendeley, covering the basics of the software, and guiding researchers on how to build and organize their reference libraries. It also included sessions on integration with Microsoft Word and how to utilize Mendeley’s advanced features.

The course aimed to equip researchers with the necessary skills to manage academic references efficiently using Mendeley. It also sought to enhance researchers’ ability to organize their scholarly work, improve the quality of scientific output, and save time and effort during the preparation of studies and academic publications.

A number of researchers interested in developing their research skills participated in the course, as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and University of Mosul’s plan to foster a culture of critical thinking and research development in higher education institutions.

The course was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Khawla Fayadh Mahmood.
