Workshop by Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division on Internal Quality Assurance for the Bologna Process and Academic Performance Indicator Measurement
On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Quality Assurance Division at College of Engineering, University of Mosul, held a workshop entitled “Internal Quality Assurance for the Implementation of Bologna Process through Academic Performance Measurement.”
The workshop, attended by Bologna Process Quality Committees from the college’s academic departments, aimed to enhance understanding of the requirements of Bologna higher education framework and the mechanisms for documenting related internal quality assurance processes, in line with both local and international accreditation standards.
Several key topics were discussed, most notably: documentation of assessment processes and assurance of academic program quality in accordance with the National Quality Assurance Guide and international accreditation standards.
It is worth mentioning that the Bologna Process seeks to standardize higher education systems across Europe and associated countries by emphasizing degree comparability, the credit hour system, and education quality assurance, thus facilitating academic and professional mobility for students and graduates.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Rana Burhan Abdulrahman, Head of Performance Evaluation Unit.
