University of Mosul participate in a video workshop focusing on the use of e-learning methods
Under the guidance of the rector of Mosul University, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, Dean of the College of Environmental Science and Technologies Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker in collaboration with Dean deputy of scientific affairs and a number of teaching staff members participated in the video workshop focusing on the use of e-learning methods which was held on March 21, 2020. The workshop was guided by The rector’s assistant of scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha from the Iraqi side, and Dr. Ahmed from the Swedish side. The workshop included the programs available by the Swedish side to use e-learning platforms by Mosul University teaching staff and the steps to access such platforms. During the workshop, a number of lecturers’ inquiries were answered regarding the mechanism of communication, keeping lectures and ways to call students, and the possibility of communicating with students using direct video lectures. More than one hundred lecturers from Mosul University participated in this workshop, and it is scheduled to use these platforms in the coming days to communicate with students.
