College of Environmental Sciences

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, the work of the training course entitled “Methods of Writing and Publishing Scientific Research” was launched on Sunday, November 3, 2024, in the college discussion hall, which will last for five days from November 3 to 7, 2024.

It was delivered by:
– Assistant Professor Dr. Rasha Khaled Sabry / College of Environmental Sciences.
– Mr. Basil Youssef / Presidency of the University of Mosul.
– Lecturer Dr. Marwan Saleh Jameel / College of Environmental Sciences.
– Lecturer Ruwa Muzaffar Younis / College of Environmental Sciences.

The course included explaining the scientific methods used in preparing a solid scientific paper, in addition to identifying the reasons for rejecting research by journals and how we can avoid them.

The course aimed to explain how to write research in a sound scientific manner and the basic standards used in writing solid scientific research.
