A seminar in the Department of Environmental Health on the hormone osteocalcin ..
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Environmental Health, Assistant Professor Dr. Rahab Abdul-Jabbar Hamid, the Department of Environmental Health held a seminar entitled (A biochemical study of the hormone osteocalcin and its relationship to diabetes) presented by the lecturer Dr. Liqa Saeed, a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Health at our college, today, Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
The lecture included an explanation of the cells responsible for producing the hormone osteocalcin into the blood and its various functions and how the hormone affects them.
The lecture aimed to clarify the relationship of the hormone osteocalcin to diabetes, in addition to its relationship to metabolic diseases.
