Launching the training course in the College of Environmental Sciences on antibiotics ..
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Committee, the College of Environmental Sciences / Department of Environmental Health held a training course entitled (Antibiotics and Public Health) today, Sunday, December 1, 2024, in the college discussion hall, which will last for five days until December 5, 2024.
It was delivered by:
– Assistant Professor Ashraf Siddiq Elias / College of Environmental Sciences
– Assistant Lecturer Ayman Hani Taha / College of Veterinary Medicine.
– Assistant Lecturer Alaa Shamel Al-Alaf / College of Veterinary Medicine.
– Assistant Lecturer Karam Mazhar Abdul Razzaq / College of Veterinary Medicine.
The course included an introduction to antibiotics, their mechanism of action, and an explanation of the antibiotic sensitivity test.
The course aimed to identify antibiotics, their resistance, and the impact of antibiotic residues on public health.
