A master’s thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts discusses the transformations of place and the actor’s performance variable in Tishreen theatrical performances.

In continuation of the scientific research movement in the College of Fine Arts – University of Mosul, the master’s thesis entitled (Transformations of place and the actor’s performance variable in Tishreen theatrical performances) was discussed on Monday morning, August 26, 2024, in the discussion hall, in the presence of a number of college professors, graduate students, and specialists in the field of theater.
The thesis submitted by the student Alaa Abdul Hussein Ali Jaber dealt with the effect of place on the actor’s performance in changing places, especially open places such as public squares, streets, gardens, and markets, and in a manner close to street theater performances and theater of the oppressed (interactive theater).
The study aimed to identify the transformations of place and the actor’s performance variable in Tishreen theatrical performances.
The discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Al-Hamdani from the University of Basra / College of Fine Arts, and the membership of Professor Dr. Bashar Abdul Ghani Muhammad and Assistant Professor Dr. Aqil Majid Hamid.
Under the supervision and membership of Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul.
