A master’s thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts discusses the structure of the comedic situation in the actor’s performance in Mohamed Ismail’s theatrical performances.

Continuing the scientific research movement at the College of Fine Arts, University of Mosul, a master’s thesis entitled “The Structure of the Comedic Situation in the Actor’s Performance in Muhammad Ismail’s Theatrical Performances” was discussed on Thursday morning, December 26, 2024, in the discussion hall, attended by a number of college professors, graduate students, and theater specialists.
The thesis, presented by student Muhammad Jassim Muhammad, aimed to identify the pillars of the actor’s comedic dramatic construction in Muhammad Ismail’s theatrical performances. The researcher addressed the structure of the comedic situation in movement, dialogue, contradiction, and paradox of the actor’s performance in Muhammad Ismail’s theatrical performances.
The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa from the College of Fine Arts, University of Mosul, and included Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Tariq Fadhel from the College of Fine Arts, University of Mosul, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hazem Awda Saywan from the College of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Aqil Majid Hamid from the College of Fine Arts, University of Mosul.
