An art exhibition and scientific symposium on the artist Maher Harbi at the Mosul Art Gallery.

Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, Dean of our beautiful college, and in the presence of Archbishop Michael Najib, Archbishop of Mosul and Aqra, the Continuing Education Unit and the Studies and Planning Division, in cooperation with the Chaldean Archdiocese of Mosul and Aqra, held a scientific symposium and an art exhibition on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, entitled “The Artist Maher Harbi: A Constant Presence in Mosul’s Memory.” Three scientific research papers were presented at the symposium, presented by Assistant Professor Fardos Bahnam Yashou, Assistant Lecturer Riyad Arif Hakim, and Assistant Lecturer Safaa Adnan Zaki. The symposium sessions were moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Tariq Fadel. The symposium was followed by the opening of the first posthumous exhibition of the late artist Maher Harbi, which featured more than fifty paintings in the gallery. The exhibition is scheduled to continue until Thursday, March 20.
