“Between a Beat and a Letter”: The Inauguration of Student Nabaa Muzaffar’s First Solo Exhibition at the College of Fine Arts

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, the Scientific Assistant Dean of the College of Fine Arts inaugurated the first solo exhibition of student Nabaa Muzaffar Salih, titled “Between a Beat and a Letter.” Organized by the Student Activities Unit in cooperation with the Department of Art Education, the opening drew a distinguished attendance of faculty members, staff, and students.
The exhibition hall featured a collection of artistic works highlighting the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy across its various types, compositions, and diverse ornaments, reflecting the student’s precision of execution and depth of creativity.
This exhibition is part of the college’s plan to support young talents and provide an artistic environment that nurtures students’ creative energies. Attendees praised the high artistic standard of the displayed works, emphasizing the importance of blending Arabic script with ornamentation in a contemporary style, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4, 8, and 11).
