Prof. Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul, presided over the fourth session of the College Council for the academic year 2025-2026. The meeting was held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in the presence of the Scientific and Administrative Vice-Deans, the Heads of Scientific Departments, and the esteemed Council members.

The Council hosted Mrs. Fadia Thamer from the Scientific Promotions Committee to follow up on the mechanism of processing promotion files within the college and to convey the instructions received from the Central Promotions Committee at the University.

The Council emphasized the importance of urging eligible faculty members to apply for scientific promotion. The session also addressed the organization of conferences and seminars, as well as preparations for the “Bridge of Mercy” (Jisr Al-Rahma) project, scheduled to be held in December.
