The Department of Fine Arts held its regular periodic meeting in its eighth session for the 2025–2026 academic year on Tuesday, February 16, 2026, chaired by Dr. Ziyad Khalaf Hassan, Head of the Department, and attended by the Scientific Assistant and faculty members.

The attendees discussed a set of key topics, most notably following up on research and academic promotions, emphasizing participation in Science Day, discussing the possibility of establishing new branches for the department, as well as following up on events and activities included in the plan.
