The annual scientific symposium of the Department of Pharmacology debated new scientific topics and recent developments in pharmacology on Sunday, June 13th 2021.The symposium aimed to show the medical benefits of medical milk thistle as well as Acetylcysteine as a future treatment in some psychiatric diseases in addition to the benefits of the Activity-Based Protein Profile technology in determining proteins in tissues.The symposium consisted of an introductory lecture by the Head of the Department, Prof Dr Imad A.
