The annual scientific symposium of the Department of Pediatrics which was held virtually on the evening of Wednesday 17th March 2021 discussed the scientific developments in the subject of premature and new-born babies.It aimed to get definition of modern methods and new technologies in treating premature and new-born infants' diseases.The symposium concluded the necessity of equipping preterm units with T-piece resuscitators, CPAP devices and MECHANICAL VENTILATORs for premature infants as well as training medical staff working in intensive care units to use these devices.
