Under the patronage of the President of University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusay K. Al-Ahmadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, the Department of Biochemistry issued a guideline on laboratory examinations for Covid-19 patients in December 2021. This guide is of great importance because it contributes to community awareness of types of laboratory tests to diagnose COVID-19 that should be performed.
