The Department of Chemistry at the College of science witnessed the holding of seminars for Master's students, which included the presentation of two scientific researches in the field of biochemistry, as follows: Student: Hoda Anis Idris: master of Biochemistry, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Thikra Ali Alloush, entitled: "Evaluation of the role of pentraxin-3 in thyroid disorders” . The study dealt with the evaluation of the Pentraxin-3 protein as a vital indicator of thyroid disorders, indicating its relationship with the levels of hormones, cytokines and oxidative stress, in addition to trying to isolate and purify it using various life techniques.
