The Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Mosul, will, God willing, hold the PhD dissertation defense of Ms. Zahraa Khazaal Hamdoon Abdul Al-Sawwaf, entitled: “Molecular and Biochemical Characterization of β-1,3-Glucanase Enzyme Isolated from Selected Indigenous Soil Fungi and Investigation of Some of Its Biological Applications.” The dissertation aims to conduct a comprehensive molecular and biochemical characterization of the β-1,3-Glucanase enzyme extracted from fungal isolates collected from local soils, and to investigate its biological properties and potential applications.
