The Department of Chemistry, College of Science, will, God willing, hold the PhD dissertation defense of Asir Ihsan Abdullah Mahmoud Al-Afandi, entitled: “Estimation of Meteorin-like Protein in Patients with Atherosclerosis.” The dissertation aims to develop and apply accurate biochemical and analytical methods to determine the level of Meteorin-like protein in the blood serum of patients with atherosclerosis and investigate its relationship with other biochemical markers.
