As part of the scientific activities of the department at our college, the department held a seminar titled (Compulsory Recruitment in Mary’s royal records) delivered by Prof. Dr. Salim Yehea Khalaf and Lecturer Dr. Rami Abdulakim Qasim/ Staff of deportment of Iraqi ancient languages. It discussed the compulsory recruitment in Mary’s royal records during the second millennium B.C throughout the ruling of several kings of the Ames
