The College of Archeology at the University of Mosul receives the ministerial committee to open a doctoral study in the Department of Archeology, Islamic Archeology Branch

The College of Archeology/University of Mosul received the ministerial committee formed pursuant to Ministerial Order No. (B.T. 5/4012 dated 4/16/2024) issued by the Research and Development Department/ Graduate Studies Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to review the the proposal of (opening doctoral studies in the field of Islamic Archaeology- in the Department of Archeology/College of Archeology/University of Mosul), The committee visited the college on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, headed by (Prof. Dr. Zain al-Abidin Musa Jaafar – College of Arts/University of Baghdad) and the membership of the following professors:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Farouk Muhammad Ali Wali – College of Arts / University of Baghdad
Asst. Prof. Dr. Latif Tayeh Hassoun Hammadi – College of Archeology / Al-Qadisiyah University
Asst. Prof. Dr. Salah Hatem Hatem – College of Archeology / Al-Qadisiyah University
The committee were received by the Dean of the College of Archeology, Professor Dr. Yasmine Abdel Karim Muhammad Ali, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Khalis Abdel Karim Farman, the Head of the Archeology Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Muharib Ali, and a number of the teaching staff in the college.
