Osteoporosis Workshop

Under the supervision and guidance of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, the College of Archaeology, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, held a workshop entitled “Osteoporosis.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hanaa Hussein Mukhlif on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in the Dr. Behnam Abu Al-Souf Hall. Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, also attended the workshop. The workshop covered a range of scientific and educational topics, including osteoporosis, its causes and prevention methods, inflammatory joint diseases and the importance of early diagnosis, in addition to correcting common misconceptions about these diseases, and reviewing the latest scientific recommendations in the fields of prevention and treatment. This workshop contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
