Artificial Intelligence Tools to Support Scientific Research : A Workshop

​In light of the rapid developments in the academic arena, the College of Archaeology—represented by the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit—organized a workshop titled “AI Tools for Supporting Scientific Research.”
​The session was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Halima and Assistant Lecturer Shaima Mudhaffar Dakhil on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.The workshop emphasized the necessity of keeping pace with technological advancements within academic institutions. Furthermore, it stressed the importance of employing AI tools responsibly and ethically to ensure the integrity of scientific output and to refine the skills of researchers in a way that aligns with global standards.
​The event concluded with an open discussion session, allowing participants to exchange insights and inquiries regarding the practical application of these technologies.
