Internet Addiction and Its Impact on Academic Achievement: A Training Course

Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdulkarim Mohammed Ali, Dean of the College, the Educational and Psychological Counseling Division held a lecture on the phenomenon of internet addiction and its impact on academic achievement. The lecture was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Hamza, Head of the Division, and addressed several important aspects of internet addiction, including its definition and causes, its impact on academic achievement, its academic consequences, strategies for overcoming it, and the importance of awareness and education about internet addiction to reduce its negative impact on academic and social performance. This lecture is part of a series of activities organized by the Educational and Psychological Counseling Division at the College to promote students’ mental health and provide them with support and guidance.
