Professor Emeritus Dr. Nawala Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Mutawalli has obtained membership in the International Council of Museums (ICOM). Acquiring this membership is considered a significant scientific achievement and a global accomplishment within international circles dedicated to museums.

The membership card was presented by Dr. Abbas Abd Mandil, Assistant Director General of the Directorate of Public Museums at the State Board of Antiquities and Heritage, and the representative of the Iraqi National Committee for the International Council of Museums in Iraq.
