The Dean of the College of Archeology, Prof. Dr. Yasmine Abdel Karim Muhammad Ali attends the reopening ceremonies of Umm al-Ma’una Church and the opening of Umm al-Ma’una School

At the invitation of the Diocese of Mosul and Aqra, the Chaldean Diocese, the Dean of the College of Archeology at the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Yasmine Abdel Karim Muhammad Ali reopened the Umm al-Maouna Church and the Umm al-Maouna School, under the auspices of Patriarch Mar Louis Raphael Sako, Patriarch of the Chaldeans in the world, and the patron of the diocese, His Excellency Bishop Mar Mikhail Najib Mikhail. The opening ceremonies took place on the morning of Friday, April 5, 2024 in the city of Mosul ( Al-Dawasa area), and the ceremony was attended by a number of distinguished officials, distinguished bishops, fathers, distinguished priests, and a number of monks and nuns. Gifts and certificates were distributed to the people who contributed to the reconstruction of the church.
