Participation of a teaching staff at the College of Archeology in the First International Scientific Conference for the Protection of Archaeology, Heritage and Antiquities in Iraq

Prof. Dr. Nawala Ahmed Al-Metwally, an academic staff in the Department of Archeology at our college, participated in the first international scientific conference for the protection of archaeology, heritage, and antiquities in Iraq which was held by the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage/Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities for the period 29-30 May 2024 in the Grand University Theater Hall and Behnam Abu Al-Souf Hall in the University of Mosul.
Professor, Dr. Nawala, touched on the role of the kings of Mesopotamia in protecting and preserving temples, palaces and their possessions in her research titled “The Role of the Kings and Rulers of Mesopotamia in Protecting Building Properties in the Light of Cuneiform Writings,” which she delivered on the first day of the conference in the first topic related to protection and preservation of the concept.
