Assistant lecturer Omar Qasim Al-Rawi, a lecturer at the College of Archaeology/ University of Mosul, was selected for membership in the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS):
International Council on Monuments and Sites
It is a council that includes a global network of experts and specialists working to preserve, protect and sustain cultural heritage sites around the world, and makes recommendations to UNESCO about World Heritage sites.
