The College of Archaeology holds a workshop on developing small projects and employing them in the field of archaeology
The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Archaeology/University of Mosul held a workshop entitled (Developing Small Projects and Employing them in the Field of Archaeology) delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Maysar Fadel on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Dr. Bahnam Abu Al-Souf Hall.
Part of the workshop was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil, and the heads of the scientific departments, noting that the target group is undergraduate students in the scientific departments of the College of Archaeology
In this workshop, Dr. Ahmed Maysar Fadel touched on a number of points and proposals that enable students and graduates of the College of Archaeology to establish private projects and invest them in the labor market, as small projects are an effective means of eliminating unemployment as they do not require large capital, and they contribute to creating job opportunities and have an economic return that serves to encourage the archaeological tourism sector at the country level
