Participation of the College of Archaeology in the central celebration of the Iraqi National Women’s Day..

The College of Archaeology participated in the central celebration of the Iraqi National Women’s Day. The event was organized by University of Mosul on the occasion of the Iraqi National Women’s Day under the slogan “The Iraqi Woman… is the Homeland, the Refuge and the Poem”, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, today, Monday, March 3, 2025. The celebration was attended by Professor Dr. Yasmine Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College, in her post as a Dean and member of the Central Committee for the Celebration and Head of the Women’s Affairs Committee in the College. A large group of female teachers, employees and students attended the celebration.
The ceremony included a play expressing the reality of women and their sacrifices, and a special video was shown, produced by the College of Archaeology, documenting the achievements of the women of Mesopotamia throughout history, in addition to a video commemorating the memory of the university’s female martyrs. The celebration included an exhibition of artistic productions in which our college participated actively…
