President of the University of Mosul Chairs the College of Archaeology Council.
As part of his ongoing follow-up of the academic process across the university’s colleges, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, chaired the seventh session of the College of Archaeology Council on Monday, March 17, 2025. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Department of Academic Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Yaqzan Saleh.
The session began with Professor Yasmin Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College, welcoming the University President for attending the Council meeting. The University President then reviewed the most important achievements of the College and ways to preserve them and move forward to achieve further accomplishments in all scientific, academic, and administrative aspects.
The President of the University of Mosul emphasized the need to continue working and proceed in accordance with the vision and future plans set by the University, in a manner that serves the College’s outcomes. He praised the efforts made by the College Deanship and the faculty in raising the academic level and maintaining the academic integrity of the University and College.
