College of Archaeology Holds a Glass Painting workshop

Under the supervision and support of the Dean of the College of Archaeology, Professor Dr. Yasmine Abdel Karim Muhammad Ali, the Student Activities Division held a training course on painting on various glass materials from Sunday, August 24th to August 28th, in the Creativity and Excellence Hall at the college. Over the five days, the course included a theoretical lecture introducing the materials to be used in the course, as well as the glass pieces that can be colored. It also included an introduction to colors and chemical solvents for dyes. Following the introductory lecture, participants were introduced to the design of the drawings, stencils, and brushes used to make the stencils. Approximately 21 participants from both teaching and professional staff attended the course. The workshop was moderated by visual arts researcher Faten Anwar and assistant lecturer Nour Faisal.
