Ministerial approval to change the name of a department in the College of Archaeology
His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research has approved changing the name of the Department of Civilization at the College of Archaeology at the University of Mosul to the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Manuscripts, effective from the 2025-2026 academic year. This is in line with the Ministry’s efforts to develop academic specializations, support research, and preserve cultural heritage.
