College of Archaeology

In implementation of the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Yasmine Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, and her accompanying delegation visited the Department of Archaeology at the College of Arts, Tikrit University, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. As part of a ministerial committee from the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the delegation was received by Professor Dr. Marbad Saleh Dhamin, Dean of the College of Arts, Tikrit University. The visit was part of a field visit aimed at evaluating and analyzing the scientific and academic situation at the College of Arts, Department of Archaeology.
The ministerial committee consisted of:
1. Professor Dr. Yasmine Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, University of Mosul (Chair).
2. Professor Dr. Othman Ghanem Muhammad (Member).
3. Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil (Member).

The visit included an assessment of the readiness of the infrastructure and the competence of the teaching and administrative staff, as well as a review of the vital facilities that contribute to supporting the educational process within the college.
This visit supports the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education.
