Participation of the Dean of the College of Archaeology in a Conference in Qatar

As part of international collaborations and building bridges of scientific communication between universities and international institutions, Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, participated in the 27th session of the Conference on Archaeology and Cultural Heritage in the Arab World, held in the State of Qatar. Iraq’s participation was prominent, with the Iraqi delegation including Professor Ali Shalgham, Head of the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage, Dr. Lama Al-Douri, Director General of the Department of Public Museums, Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, and a large number of researchers from Arab countries. The conference was inaugurated by Her Excellency the Qatari Minister of Education and Higher Education on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali presented her research paper entitled “The Role of Scientific Research in Heritage Sustainability Strategies.” This participation aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
