Ramadan Evening at the College of Archaeology

​In the presence of   Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi), President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision and guidance of Professor Dr. Yasamine Abdul Karim Mohammed Ali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, the college hosted a Ramadan Evening. This event coincided with the celebrations of International Women’s Day.
​The evening commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an in the college hall. This was followed by a lecture delivered by the Dean of the College titled “Headgear in Mesopotamia,” in which she explored the history of head coverings from the Sumerian era through to the Hatra period.
This event reflects the University’s commitment to supporting college activities and enhancing the cultural and artistic dimensions of the academic journey.
