A doctoral dissertation titled “Babylonian Influence on Caravan Cities: Palmyra and Dura-Europos (Al-Salhiyah) in Architecture and Art” was defended at the Faculty of Archaeology (Department of Archaeology) on Thursday, September 3, 2026. The research was conducted by student Ansam Zuhair Khader under the supervision of Emeritus Professor Jaber Khalil Ibrahim.

This dissertation contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8, and 11.
