A scientific seminar on ‘Ibn Khaldun’
On March 11, 2026, the Orientalist Studies Unit at the College of Arts, in cooperation with the department of History, held a scientific seminar entitled “Ibn Khaldun in the Western perspective”. The session was held in the discussion hall at the department of History. dr. Nasser Abdul Razzaq opened the topic of the seminar and it was moderated by dr. Mahmoud Saleh Saeed. This seminar came as an activity highlighting the presence of Ibn Khaldun’s thought in western studies, and to discuss the most prominent readings and analyses provided by Western researchers for his intellectual and scientific contributions.
