New Literary and Cultural Achievement: Dr. Hanaa Ahmed Jabr Wins the Julia Ward Howe Award

 

The book Where Do You Live? by Dr. Hanaa Ahmed Jabr, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Basic Education, University of Mosul, has been awarded the prestigious Julia Ward Howe Award, presented by the Boston Authors Club, in the Best Poetry Book Published in 2025 category.

This distinguished achievement represents a significant addition to the Arab academic and literary presence on the international stage. The award recognizes Dr. Jabr’s outstanding poetic contribution and celebrates the artistic excellence reflected in her work.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 15, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, at the Waterworks Museum, with the attendance of a distinguished gathering of authors, poets, and cultural figures.
