Master’s Thesis at the College of Basic Education on “Transformations in Gulf Fiction in the Context of Sustainable Development”

A Master’s thesis entitled “Transformations in Gulf Fiction in the Context of Sustainable Development” was discussed at the Department of Arabic Language, College of Basic Education, University of Mosul. The thesis was submitted by Mahmoud Abdul-Karim Ahmed Al-Juhaishi on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in the Umm Al-Rabi‘ain Hall at the College.
The thesis examined the impact of sustainable development on Gulf literary fiction. Gulf fiction represents a cultural document characterized by its distinctive environment and identity. Accordingly, the study explored this specificity by tracing the influence of geography, environmental factors, and sustainability awareness on literary production.
The discussion committee consisted of:
