As part of the continuous follow-up on quality requirements and the enhancement of academic performance, the programmatic accreditation team formed by the Presidency of the University of Mosul visited the College of Basic Education to inspect the status of the scientific departments and follow up on the fulfillment of programmatic accreditation requirements.

The team included:

• Prof. Dr. Ammar Mahmoud Ahmed / College of Veterinary Medicine – Chair

• Dr. Ziyar Ayoub Suleiman / College of Engineering – Member

• Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Mahmoud Ali / College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – Member

The team was received by the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Younis Salih Al-Juraisi. During the meeting, they discussed programmatic accreditation requirements, mechanisms for enhancing the quality of academic performance in the scientific departments, and the efforts made by the college to complete accreditation requirements and standards.

The team also met with the Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rabie Mohammed Hani Mahmoud, where they reviewed the evaluation forms of the scientific departments along with their supporting evidence and documents, and discussed several aspects related to quality and programmatic accreditation requirements.

This visit comes within the framework of the University of Mosul Presidency’s efforts to monitor the implementation of quality standards and programmatic accreditation, support scientific departments in fulfilling accreditation requirements, and elevate the level of academic and institutional performance across the university’s colleges.
