College of Basic Education Holds an Educational Workshop Titled: “Time Management and Organizing Academic Life”

The College of Basic Education at the University of Mosul, through its Continuing Education Unit and in cooperation with the Department of Arabic Language, held an educational workshop titled:

“Time Management and Organizing Academic Life”

It took place at the Arabic Language Department hall on Monday, September 28, 2026, presented by Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Saad Muhsin.

The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of time in achieving success and excellence, and to avoid wasting time by creating plans to utilize it effectively. This achieves a balance between academic requirements and personal life, while reducing psychological stress caused by study backlogs and overcoming procrastination.

The workshop concluded with several key takeaways, most notably:

• Developing self-monitoring and personal accountability skills.

• Reinforcing the concept that time management is not about increasing work hours, but rather about investing time wisely.

• Emphasizing that caring for time is caring for the future, while wasting time is wasting the future.
