Master’s Thesis at the College of Basic Education: “Psychological Well-Being and Its Relationship with Ego Resilience among Players of the University of Mosul College Teams in Selected Team Sports”

The College of Basic Education at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis entitled “Psychological Well-Being and Its Relationship with Ego Resilience among Players of the University of Mosul College Teams in Selected Team Sports” on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Al-Hadbaa Hall at the college.

The thesis, submitted by the student Mohammed Khushman Hassan Ali, aimed to:

  1. Construct a scale for measuring psychological well-being among players of the University of Mosul college teams in selected team sports.
  2. Identify the level of psychological well-being among players of the University of Mosul college teams in selected team sports.
  3. Identify the level of ego resilience among players of the University of Mosul college teams in selected team sports.
  4. Determine the relationship between psychological well-being and ego resilience among players of the University of Mosul college teams in selected team sports.

The researcher reached the following conclusions:

  • The scale developed to measure psychological well-being among the University of Mosul college teams in selected team sports proved to be effective.
  • Statistically significant differences were found in the level of psychological well-being among the University of Mosul college teams in selected team sports.
  • The ego resilience scale was found to be valid for measuring the level of ego resilience among the players.
  • A statistically significant relationship was identified between psychological well-being and ego resilience among the research sample.
