PhD Dissertation at the College of Basic Education on “A Comparison of the Effects of Combined and Contrast Training Methods on a Number of Functional Variables and Body, Physical, and Skill Components among Futsal Players”

The College of Basic Education at the University of Mosul discussed a PhD dissertation entitled “A Comparison of the Effects of Combined and Contrast Training Methods on a Number of Functional Variables and Body, Physical, and Skill Components among Futsal Players.” The discussion was held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Umm Al-Rabi‘ain Hall at the College.

The study, submitted by Mohammed Zaki Younis Al-Sabaawi, aimed to identify the effects of both combined training and contrast training on functional variables, body composition, physical attributes, and basic skills, as well as to compare the two training methods based on the post-tests conducted on players from the training centers affiliated with the General Directorate of Education in Nineveh in futsal.

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Tawfiq Othman, with the membership of:
