A faculty member in our college served as a member of a Master’s thesis defense committee at the College of Education for Women, University of Mosul.”**

Asst. Prof. Dr. Manhal Khattab Sultan, a faculty member in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at our college, participated as a member of the Master’s thesis defense committee for the thesis titled “Self-Compassion and Its Relationship to Psychological Flourishing Among Female Students of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul”, submitted by student Haneen Mumtaz Yunus, on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the discussion hall of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
The thesis aimed to identify the levels of self-compassion and psychological flourishing among female students of physical education and sports sciences at the University of Mosul, explore the nature of the relationship between self-compassion, psychological flourishing, and academic (practical) achievement, and examine differences in these two variables according to academic years.
