Within the framework of the university's openness to all and to strengthen relations with the state departments and to inform our dear students about what is going on within these departments, Dr.Nazar H. Shuker directed the need of scientific visits in the field and under the supervision of the Head of Statistics and Informatics Department Dr. Osama Bashir Hannun, and number of department’s academics. The students of the first stage visited in the Department of Planning / Central Statistical Organization / Statistics Department of Nineveh on April 15, 2019. The delegation was received by the Director of the Department, Mr. Nofal Sulaiman Talab, which welcomed them, then moved to the lecture hall in the department to listen to a detailed explanation by the Director, as well as the directors of the units about the mechanism of the work of the Department in the office and was explained by them on what is done in the divisions of the different department such as agricultural statistics, industrial and construction, as well as medical and all types of statistics. The delegation then went to visit some departments as well as the central library of the office and listen to the staff members explain about what these units are doing. The students expressed their happiness and satisfaction for the good reception and explanation on how to work and what is important to the future studies
