Discussion of a doctoral thesis in the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics
Discussion of a doctoral thesis in the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics – Department of Mathematics with the title:
On Generalizing Maximum Distance Polynomials in Graph Theory with Applications Intelligent Techniques
In continuation of the scientific research movement, and with the follow-up and presence of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the respected
The doctoral thesis of the student Raghad Abdulaziz Mustafa Abdullah was discussed in the discussion hall of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on Thursday, February 17-2022, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Ali
And Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Muhammad Khader.
The thesis dealt with the definition of the polynomial of the maximum distance of a continuous statement between the header and any subset of the statement headers. The thesis dealt with the study of the polynomials Mn- and the evidences Mn- for many of the data defined in the theory of the statement. The polynomial was calculated for the maximum distance of some special data, the dentate data and the thorns of special trees.
The thesis aims to deduce a relationship between the Mn- and Hosoyian polynomials when n = 2 and the relationship between their indices, and then use them to find the Hosoyian polynomials and Wiener’s evidence.
Finally, intelligent techniques were used to calculate the coefficients of the maximum distance polynomials “the Mn-” polynomial. For any simple connected statement and for predicting the coefficients of Hosoyian polynomials for some tree.
The discussion committee was chaired by a. Dr. Omar Saber Qassem and the membership of:
