In a new important step, the development of postgraduate studies (diploma / master’s) in cyber security at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul for the academic year 2022-2023.
This innovation comes after the meeting that was held in Baghdad last Thursday, March 31, 2022, under the auspices of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of a number of university presidents and assistants and deans of specialized colleges.
The Prime Minister’s advisor, Mr. Muhammad Al-Hakim, said during the meeting that the project to develop postgraduate studies in cybersecurity technology is receiving the attention and approval of the Prime Minister.The selection of Mosul University as one of the three universities in Iraq (Mosul – Baghdad – Technology) to develop new studies in the field of cyber security, because the university and the College of Computer Science and Mathematics have a great scientific legacy that contains great scientific strengths in the specialization.
This development comes shortly after the expanded scientific symposium held by the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on the topic of cybersecurity and its importance.
